Haunted Pre- School Castro Valley

ROXY CINEMA OF TANGIER. THE BOWLES IN MALAGA

"Roxy" Rothapfel (1882-1936), nicknamed Roxy is due, and fruit, was a star, a famous dancer, a brilliant Man Show and his own right, was also a prominent businessman who in 1927 ordered to build a cinema to which he referred to his stage name "Roxy" the unforgettable "Roxyettes Theater." With over 6000 locations became years later in "The Rockettes Theater", later in the Radio City Music Hall in New York and, finally, in one of the cinemas the largest in the world. Roxy's name has since appeared in many small theaters and cinemas across numerous cities around the world.

The international Tangier, back in the 50's, born in the street, which currently is not called Fernando de Portugal, a film that took the name of Roxy. A unique building of round shapes. Its architecture is characterized by an old baroque decor colossal, as well as some columns and gilt-edged, sometimes to excess. The Tangier Roxy filled evenings from moviegoers. Those were the days of film, festival. Friends, viewers were cited, were crowded in the hall, chatting and that was where the ceremony actually began, anxious and impatient while waiting to dive into the darkness. It was a real meeting with the 7th art. Suddenly came Mr. Barakat, the owner himself, whispering, "off cigarettes, kindly, that begins the function."

Critique

current status of Tangier theaters can be laborious and unproductive due to the complexity of their stocks and livelihoods. You have to make a list, review the scenarios, to stop the failures, call up a jury and to testify to the directors, writers, producers and "poor" new owners who probably have no fucking idea of \u200b\u200bthe product ... It could be a bloodbath. There could be prizes for worst screenplay, worst director, worst director, worst actor ... He could have, why not?, To finish the job, special mention to the worst public. Do not know how happy could I, at this gala final delivery of the well deserved awards. Of course, I did not win anything but I feel guilty for not doing anything until today. There is a lack of respect. I wonder, where is the merit that many people have dedicated to what we play now? One can not be impartial and make the circus payasete denying failure. Anouar Majid My friend told me that the real Tangier should be limited to not only criticize, but have to act.

Currently, the Roxy Cinema is a reflection of a forgotten history. It's like leaving a star is like the sad story of the man who sold his son. I feel foolish when I think, a cacophony of irrelevant questions invade me and I can sum up in one: why we beheaded our Roxy? I do not understand, has always been critical and professional, honest people who could respond and explain this mournful story. I am annoyed by this brutal clash of Western and North African cultures, analyzing the situation of cinemas in Tangier. The schedule of films is no longer what it was and changed radically. The audience at the rooms is no longer the same. To attract more people and make delicious box, the new tenants were and are capable of anything. Habits have changed the result of globalization whore. And a new and overwhelming Third film industry was installed. The cinema in Tangier had ceased to be criticized and lost the ability to thrive. I'm not talking about production and prosificación of our national cinema, but the slovenliness of our cinemas.

was a blunder and a failure, a memorable error. Moved too fast during the 60's, the raging "World of Bollywood" and "Spaghetti Western." A mediocre film, series C, invaded our living rooms and was sandwiched between our discussions and our culture, in short, in our lives and our past. Some particular subgenres with repetitive stories, dirty aesthetic, devoid of moral character and endowed with muscles and of course high dose of toughness and violence, almost nothing. It was a hoax and an obscene business, what a pity.

turns out that the most wonderful things that have happened in the life of Tangier no useless. I get cheesy, yes, but ... if someone can tell me what it is for a movie theater with Apedo "Roxy." I, personally, on reflection, I ended blindly believing in our failure, a fact that is part of our lives and of all people, like it or not. But, it is necessary to differentiate between wrong and the mess you folded. The worst thing is that the latter persists. To err is human and to rectify wise.

Our unforgettable and legendary rooms should not be relegated degenerated. On behalf of all of you, we should not deprive future generations of history and magic that, for many years, they have tasted our cinemas.
